Background

MECCO, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a leader in direct part marking solutions for traceability, part verification, and part identification in manufacturing,
assembly and other harsh environments.

 

MECCO and Krome continue to enjoy a long-standing relationship in which Krome develops successful public relations initiatives for the company’s marking technologies, specifically its “best-in-class” fiber and CO2 laser solutions.

 

These initiatives are in concert with a new MECCO tag line developed by Krome that now appears on all marketing and sales collateral - “Make Your Mark With MECCO.”

Using a public relations strategy, Krome identifies and coordinates bylined article and case study opportunities in leading industry trade publications. Several of these placements appear in conjunction with sales lead generating trade shows, such as IMTS and FABTECH.

Through this exposure, Krome strategically communicates a consistent message that
MECCO’s lasers are the most cost-effective marking solution. Furthermore, Krome conveys how MECCO is more than just a provider of marking technology - the company partners with its clients to provide solutions to marketing and operational challenges using marks.

 

 

Results

Krome consistently secures feature articles for MECCO in major manufacturing, laser and vertical market trade publications, including: Industrial Laser Solutions, Modern Machine Shop, and Manufacturing Automation News.

 

As a result of more than 500,000 industry impressions achieved to date, Krome’s public relations program has been directly attributed to an increase in MECCO sales and brand recognition.
