
Background
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, a 100-year-old Pittsburgh law firm known for insurance defense litigation, wanted to gain recognition as a general counsel law firm.
Strategy
Kröme began by designing and producing a master brochure and used it as a keystone for a continuing marketing communications program directed to a corporate market. The program has included extensive ongoing advertising, public relations, public television underwriting and performing arts programs.
Results
Since beginning the program in 1984, Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote grew from 65 to well over 125 lawyers and increased its corporate base of clients significantly. The 1999 marketing communications program received several awards, including a Pittsburgh “Addy” award, and the American Bar Association’s “Dignity in Lawyer Advertising” Award.
